Still a work in progress. I'm thinking of maybe compiling a mega-post for each category. eg one post for erotic fiction containing all the erotic fiction posts from all the Elust editions. Then I'd link the topics on the Elust main page to the mega-posts. Currently they link to a list of the editions that contained the matching category.
The pictures for each topic heading are free for use images. I'm thinking of making some kind of promotion to try to get Elust regulars involved in sending in and selecting images to replace the current pictures for each topic. I'm struggling a bit trying to get feedback and involvement in Elust. I might make topic picture selection into some kind of competition with prizes to get people more engaged.
I also noticed there are a lot of old Elust editions missing from the archives. I'm not sure where they went but I checked with the previous owners and received confirmation that it's ok to restore them so that is another (huge) project for me. When I have time, I'll resurrect all the missing editions via the wayback machine and reinstate them in the archives.
One last thing. I've bought ad space for Elust on Fetlife for September 1st to October 1st. So hopefully you will notice a boost in clicks coming from Elust. I'm also talking to youporn about buying ad space on their erotica page. If that works out, I'll give their ads a try in October and compare results with Fetlife and then decide which to continue with.
